Currently in graduate school working on a MA in Anthropology and Social Change, Hadley is the Alliance for Climate Education’s (ACE) former Bay Area Program Manager. Hadley has presented ACE’s assembly on climate science and climate justice to over 12,800 Bay Area students, and managed the youth contingent of cross-organizational campaigns to push for a ban on the use of oil drilling wastewater on crops in C.A., promote Community Choice Aggregation, and support the #Youthvgov climate lawsuit.
During her college and professional career, Hadley has led campaigns for justice for sweatshop workers, launched a nonprofit soccer league to alleviate economic inequity within South Central Los Angeles, and cofounded ClimateSign.org with the goal of creating a uniting universal symbol for the climate movement. The climate sign was projected on the Eiffel Tower during the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference and has been used throughout the latest COP23 in Bonn.
Hadley now co-facilitates trainings on anti-oppression, consent, gender, and other topics at the Berkeley Animal Rights Center.
