Principle #6: The Universe is on the Side of Justice. ….

As the country celebrated its “independence” last weekend, I found myself reflecting on the concept of justice.

Earlier that week, I watched a young man I’ve known for three years receive a life sentence. I watched the District Attorney and the friends of the victim advocate for “justice,” which for them meant this young man receiving the maximum penalty. And I found myself frustrated at how far apart our understanding of the concept of justice is.
